E3 is right around the corner!
As you may have seen on today’s #TokiTuesday post over on our Facebook page, you and up to two more of your friends will be able to play together once Quest of Souls is finally released. However, you may be thinking to yourself, “but Adam...the demo I played was only single-player. There wasn’t a three-player mode!”
Have I got some good news for you.
Our team is hard at work to bring you a bigger, better, more feature-rich demo for Quest of Souls! While we love our current build that’s currently available on Steam, it’s main purpose is to give players a brief glimpse into what the combat is like, as well as a sneak peek at our competitive multiplayer mini-game Necroball. But the final game will be much more than that.
Quest of Souls is set to have all three of our main characters playable at the same time and give players seven unique levels to explore. The game will also feature branching dialogue options, ability level ups, items for you to buy and much more! While we can’t go into too much detail just yet, we want everyone to know the next version of our demo will include many, if not all, of these features giving players a better feel of what the final product has to offer.
And who knows, maybe even Toki will sneak into the demo so everyone can get a chance to try out the dragonslaying corgi herself before Quest of Souls’ official launch. Be sure stay tuned for more information about our new and improved demo.
But that’s not all!
As many of you already know, E3 is just around the corner! Our Lead Designer Cody and myself will be flying to Los Angeles next week to check out all of the new games set to be announced, network with some of the industry’s biggest names and learn as much as we can to make Quest of Souls the best game as it can be. This will be my sixth time attending the show and I’m still just as excited to go as I was during my first trip.
Be sure to follow Cody on Instagram (@kingcrowcody), me on Twitter (@adamarinder) as well as our official Instagram page (@KingCrowStudio) and Twitter page (@KingCrowStudios) for live updates from the press conferences and the show floor — and be sure to use the hashtag #QoSE3 if you have any questions for the Quest of Souls team while we’re at E3.
It’s an exciting time here at King Crow Studios and an exciting time for gamers. We hope everyone has a great E3 and we’ll see you again in two weeks!
